Pressing Instructions

  2. Place the blank on the heat press platen.

  3. Position your sublimation print face down on the blank.

  4. Secure the print with heat-resistant tape to prevent shifting.

  5. Cover the blank and print with parchment or butcher paper to protect the heat press.

  6. Press with medium to firm pressure for the recommended time (usually 45-60 seconds).

  7. Carefully remove the blank from the heat press using heat-resistant gloves.

  8. Peel off the sublimation paper while the blank is still warm.

Cooling and Finishing

  • Allow the blank to cool completely before handling or packaging.

  • Avoid washing the sublimated item for at least 24 hours to ensure the design sets properly.

Tips

  • Always test press a sample before doing a full batch.

  • Adjust time, temperature, and pressure based on your specific heat press and blanks.

  • Use a Teflon sheet (recommend).
